Please join us our annual Hoonko Service with special guest speaker Reverend Mauricio Hondaku starting at 10 AM
Hoonko (the observance of Anniversary of Death and Repay Debt of Gratitude), Shinran Shonin's Memorial Service. Within the Nishi Honganji tradition this is the most important observance of the year. It is held to acknowledge our debt of gratitude to Shinran Shonin for opening the Nembutsu teachings for us.
There will be a luncheon held after service. Please bring a side dish or salad to share with the sangha.
